About Dr. Tamika Jacques

Tamika Jacques is a Motivational Visionary, Workforce Guru,
and DEI Strategist. Dr. Jacques has been in the Workforce Development field for over twenty years and has had the honor of teaching audiences how to engage and prepare for a career legacy. Tamika has created  numerous training programs that has empowered women, BIPOC populations, K-12 students, high-school and college students, incumbent and under-employed workers.
 

Dr. Jacques is a highly sought-after speaker on subjects that
include Leadership Development, Developing & Sustaining Diverse and Inclusive Networks, Empowering Your Dreams, Designing Career Vision Boards and Self Empowerment. 

As part of her many accomplishments, Dr. Jacques was awarded the 2024 Suffolk University Black Excellence Alumni Award,  the Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award from the American Association of Blacks in Energy Greater Boston Chapter in 2021 and the Rising Star Award from the New England Women in Energy and The Environment (NEWIEE) in 2017.

Publications:

In 2019, Dr. Jacques published A Brown Girls Guide to Employment and Networking which reached #1 on Amazon under Vocational Education. The Best Seller was also listed on Forbes.com as one of the Best Books for Networking. Her success was followed again in 2023 when she published A Brown Girls Guide To Employment and Networking Volume II. Dr. Jacques love for the next generation is also evident as she published A Brown Parents Guide, Preparing Our Children for Employment In The 21st Century was published January, 2021. 

 

Education:

Dr. Jacques has an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership from

Johnson  & Wales University, Master of Science in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from Suffolk University.
